This is a blog and not the New York Times so I intend to lean heavily on my sarcasm and aim for an approachable source for cycling content that may have you drinking your Oatmilk Cortado pinky down on the next coffee ride. Let’s not make any assumptions here:

• I don’t give a shit about the Velominatti… I wear cycling caps off the bike and not wearing team kits is detrimental to professional cycling. So get over yourselves.
• Cycling is fun and professional cycling is entertainment. Since you’re reading this, you are probably very passionate about this particular form of entertainment. Don’t make it not fun.
• You don’t know everything about the sport and your opinions are as valid as anybody elses. Please see the “Get over yourself” from point 1. But still have fun.

I am not a journalist, professional cyclist, directeur sportif, or any other cool job within the sport. I am a fan who loves talking about bikes and bike stuff.

Also, please engage… If I’m talking about it here, it means I’ve had this conversation on rides with friends. So it’s meant to be a conversation and not an old man shouting at clouds.

Finally, remember that bikes will save the world. I have no idea how, but I am absolutely positive they will.
